Tagging of Global Courses

Global Engagement’s first strategic theme was to develop and expand innovative learning opportunities for students and faculty by infusing global perspectives into DePaul curricula. In support of this goal, in October 2016, the Colleges/Schools' International Committees/Study Abroad Committees were officially charged with “identifying all courses with global learning content offered at DePaul, in an effort to track and monitor student participation in such courses.” College International Committees will develop an internal process, adapting to local customs and existing practices, to go through their catalog and compile a list of courses that fit the global learning criteria. Each list of courses from the College Committees will be communicated, via the College rep, to the Comprehensive Internationalization Committee (CIC) for review and possible normalization. The list of labelled courses is expected by January 31, 2017.
