Mobility Data

  • ​​Emerging from the COVID19 pandemic, Study Abroad continues to recover with growth in their Winter programs. Growing from 12 to 17 programs in Winter 2021 to Winter 2022 respectively, which resulted in 88% growth in participants as well.​
  • F1/J1 and International students remained relatively consistent from Winter 2021 to Winter 2022. The most growth was with the English Language Academy (ELA) which increased by 91%.
  • Modest growth in the number of participants engaging in OPT (13%), mostly with Graduate students (16.4%).
  • Majority of international students come from Asia (51.4%). However, there was a significant drop in Chinese students (down 42.4%) but increased with Indian students (up 63.3%). Other notable increases were with Korean and Pakistani students.
