Fall International Mobility Updates

  • In Fall 2022, DePaul enrolled 2268 international students, representing a 24% growth over Fall 2021 and a 5 year high.  Approximately, 70% of our international student enrollments are at graduate level.
  • The most notable change was in the increase in enrollments from India, which doubled over prior year (781 in Fall 2022 vs. 389 students in Fall 2021).
  • Participation in Study Abroad programs also increased significantly over prior year, including an 86% increase in Term Long program participation (across 28 programs), and 179% increase in December 2022 short-term program participation (across 16 programs).
  • Some new programs this fall included: Chile: Backpacking, Rewilding, & Design in Patagonia; France: Vincentian Legacies, Urban Experiences, & Food Culture in Paris & the South; Hawaii: Culture, Environment, Economy, Politics, and Security of the Pacific Islands; Singapore: An International Perspective on Careers; and Washington D.C.: Intern in the Capital.
