Academic Media Production (AMP) works with faculty and select staff units to create visually engaging and pedagogically stimulating lecture content. Comprised of a team of editors, videographers, and a senior instructional designer, the team works closely with stakeholders to plan, record, edit, and post videos for individual or course-wide developments.

Our Studios
AMP Maintains 5 studio spaces between the Loop and Lincoln Park campuses.
This studio space is best utilized for presenting annotated slide decks (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, etc.), demonstrating code, reviewing software or websites, or any materials best presented through the computer directly.
This space is best utilized for writing notes or diagraming content on a height adjustable Lightboard drawn by the presenter. This space can optionally be fitted with a smaller (5x7 foot) green screen, with advance notice.
Similar to Studio SAC 266A in Lincoln Park, this studio space is best utilized for presenting annotated slide decks (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, etc.), demonstrating code, reviewing software or websites, or any materials best presented through the computer directly.
This space is best utilized for creative green screen recordings or smaller roundtable discussions. This studio will fit 1 to 4 speakers and features a teleprompter and confidence monitor setup for use while recording.
Similar to SAC 266B in Lincoln Park, the Lightboard studio is our largest space, set with professional lighting, audio, and camera equipment designed around an 8 by 4 foot lightboard. This space is best utilized for writing notes or diagraming content drawn by the presenter.
Working with AMP
Faculty and staff wishing to produce new content should plan on working from 2 weeks to 2 months in advance for a single video project (schedules can be determined in initial planning meeting), and 6-12 months in advance of a full course project, though more complicated projects may take longer to plan, produce, and edit.
