A university-related event is one that is internally sponsored and led by a department, faculty member, student organization or employee of DePaul for some benefit to the DePaul community. University functions are normally exempt from room rental, facility set-up and/or audiovisual fees. Read the special conditions below.
A university co-sponsored function is one that is led or supported by the university, a department or faculty member in which the DePaul community derives a benefit and the entire university community is welcomed.
A non-university event is one that has no affiliation/association with the university. Non-university functions are charged at prevailing room rental fees.
All standard room equipment/amenities included in price are: chalkboards or whiteboards, LCD projector, screen, computer interface and guest wireless access.
Room rates reflect a standard 8-hour rental period. All events must end as scheduled or otherwise be approved by Conference Services. External events that extend beyond contracted rental time will be charged at a rate of $50 per half hour.
Price discounts may be applicable given the nature and cost of co-sponsored events.
