Event Statuses

When you submit a space request at the DePaul University Student Centers, it goes through a process with different statuses to keep you informed of its progress. The three key statuses are:

Web Request: This is the initial status of your request. It means you have successfully submitted your space request through the online portal. At this point, the request is in the system but has not yet been reviewed or processed by the Student Centers staff. Think of it as the "inbox" for all new requests.
Pending Request: Once the Student Centers staff begins to review your request, its status changes to "Pending Request." This signifies that your request is actively being considered. The staff may be checking the availability of the requested space, confirming any setup or resource needs, or looking for any potential conflicts. During this phase, they may reach out to you for clarification or to suggest alternative options.
Confirmed: This is the final status. A "Confirmed" status means your space request has been officially approved. The space and all associated details (date, time, setup) are reserved for your use. You can now move forward with your event planning.
