Student Registration
In order for students to access The Basic Needs Hub for the current academic year, they need to complete the registration form. The form is intended for enrolled DePaul students facing financial hardship and/or food insecurity. The Rosalie Rendu Student Pantry and The Career Closet are now extensions of DePaul University's Basic Needs Hub. Learn more about The Basic Needs Hub in Newsline.
Food insecurity is a significant issue among college students across our country. Given the mission of St. Vincent de Paul and that of the university, the question "What must be done?" always comes to mind. In February 2020, a group of DePaul staff members from the Department of Housing, Dining & Student Centers established The Rosalie Rendu Student Pantry to provide a food resource for students in need. Since then, its offerings have expanded, which includes The Career Closet where students can pick up professional clothing to impress during interviews or on the job.
A special note to our donors: We thank you from the bottom of our hearts in helping provide these much-needed food resources for our students!
