The Office of the General Counsel is responsible for overseeing all of DePaul’s legal activities, including representing the University in the resolution of legal disputes; assisting faculty and staff with regulatory compliance matters; coordinating DePaul’s response to subpoenas and other legal requests for information; assisting with the leasing or acquisition of real estate; providing counsel on federal, state and local laws; reviewing contracts; interpreting DePaul policies and procedures; and more.
