Shalyn Ganellen

​Shalyn advises DePaul on matters relating to admissions, student accounts, financial aid, immigration, experiential education, diversity, public policy, and bankruptcy. Shalyn also oversees Clery Act compliance, the university's contract review process, and requests relating to wage deductions and subpoenas. Prior to joining DePaul's Office of General Counsel, Shalyn was an associate at Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago where her practice focused on mass tort litigation. Shalyn also clerked for the Honorable Joseph R. Goodwin of the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia and completed a PILI Fellowship at the American Civil Liberties Union. Shalyn graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law.
