Anastasia Katinas

Anastasia is the primary adviser to the University regarding international issues and relationships, including export controls, and externally-sponsored services, programs and research.  Her practice areas also include the legal aspects of the University’s compliance, risk management, and insurance programs, including issues relating to the protection of minor children.  In addition, Anastasia conducts internal investigations and manages the University’s commercial and tort litigation.  Prior to joining the legal team at DePaul, Anastasia served as Assistant General Counsel at Sears Holdings Corporation and as a senior associate in the complex litigation section of the international law firm of Jones Day.  Anastasia received her J.D. with honors from The University of Chicago Law School and her B.A. with highest honors from Northwestern University.
