New Master’s Enrollment 

The total of 1,658 new master’s students enrolled in fall 2018 is up 25 students from 2017.
  • 30 percent are under age 24 (30 percent in 2017). 
  • 36 percent are students of color (33 percent in 2017). 
  • 14 percent are international students on F1 and J1 visas (14 percent in 2017)
The new master’s students come from a wide range of locations: 
  • 38 percent are from the city of Chicago (36 percent in 2017). 
  • 37 percent are from suburban locations and elsewhere in Illinois (42 percent in 2017). 
  • 25 percent are from out of state and international locations (22 percent in 2017). 

New Doctorate Enrollment 

A total of 87 new doctoral students enrolled this fall, compared with 103 in 2017. Thirty-six students are in the College of Education, 23 are in CSH (22 in the nursing doctorate), 14 are in the KGSB executive doctorate, 10 are in CDM and four are in LAS.

New Law Enrollment 

The College of Law welcomed 289 new students this fall, compared with 309 students in 2017. Of the new law students, 246 are enrolled in the JD program, 37 are enrolled in the MJ program, and four are in LLM programs.
