Michael Wright joined the division in January 2008 and currently serves as the assistant vice president for the Office of the University Registrar. Michael manages and oversees a variety of student records functions and processes including registration, transcripts, immunization, diplomas, data reporting and security, and BlueStar in Campus Connect (an online system that supports academic success).
Michael previously worked as registrar for Ranken Technical College in St. Louis, assistant registrar for the University of California, Berkeley and associate registrar for Ohio State University. He earned his BS in economics from Southeast Missouri State University and MA in higher education administration from St. Louis University. He is a current member of the Chicago Association of Registrars and Enrollment Managers (CAREM), AACRAO, IACRAO, and HEUG and a peer evaluator for the Higher Learning Commission.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Michael now lives in Chicago. His interests include genealogy, history and travel.
