Duolingo English Test Prep Course
The English Language Academy is offering a new test prep course for the Duolingo English Test (DET). Are you new to Duolingo, or have you been taking the test without seeing desirable results? The ELA now has a new elective course to prepare you to demonstrate your true English ability on the DET.
Details about the Course
- Receive expert advice from an ELA instructor
- Learn testing techniques and strategies
- No homework!
- Small class size for individual attention and ample practice time (maximum 10 students)
Dates, Times, and Location - Winter Break 2023
- 6 sessions (11/27, 11/29, 12/1, 12/4, 12/6, and 12/8) in 2 weeks
- 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
- Loop Campus
Course Fee: $350
The course fee includes course materials and one DET testing code at the end of the course.
Eligibility
If you are an ELA student, you must be at the High Intermediate level or higher in all skills. Please note that you do not need to enroll in our program to take this elective, though studying academic English in our program will help you improve your overall skills to do better on the DET or any other standardized English test. *The minimum enrollment for this course is 3 students, and registration is limited to 10 students per class. If we receive more interest, an additional class might be added.
