International Student Orientation is designed to assist you in your first weeks in Chicago and to help you become a successful student at DePaul. You will be introduced to the resources and advising services of
International Student and Scholar Services (ISS), learn how to remain in lawful immigration status while studying in the U.S., gain knowledge of DePaul academic culture and resources, learn about campus programs and activities and meet other new students beginning their journey at DePaul.
International Student Orientation is designed as a conference-style event. In addition to common sessions that all students attend, you will be able to choose from a variety of sessions based on your interests as well as your academic level and program.
Some of the sessions you will attend at International Orientation will be based on your academic level and program: Kellstadt Graduate School of Business (KGSB) and Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM) graduate students will attend sessions presented by KGSB and CDM faculty and staff.
