Transfer

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​A transfer applicant is a student applying for a bachelor's degree who has completed high school and has taken additional coursework in one or more post-secondary institutions (college or university).  If this is not your situation, review the How to Apply webpage to determine your applicant type.

You are considered a transfer international applicant if you have been educated outside of the U.S. at any time during secondary school (high school) or university and/or college.

Application Requirements by Age

Your application requirements may differ depending on your age and number of credits completed.  Please review to the grid below to determine the documents you will need to submit.

Scholarships

Transfer applicants for Fall, Winter and Spring terms are automatically considered for academic scholarships based on their academic record at the time of admission. Transfer scholarships range from $12,000 - $23,000 per year. DePaul does not offer need-based scholarships to international students. Learn more about transfer scholarships here.

Financial Aid

U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents are considered for need-based financial aid upon filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
