ELA Next Steps

As a newly-admitted DePaul student, you'll use two web portals to complete next steps for enrollment: Blue Demon Domain and Campus Connect.

Pre-Arrival

  • Blue Demon Domain
  • Blue Demon Domain has your personal checklist items to complete the next steps for enrollment, such as reserving your spot by submitting your $100 USD non-refundable tuition deposit, requesting your I-20, and submitting Campus Housing Agreement.
  • Campus Connect
  • Log in to Campus Connect using your username and password sent to you when you were admitted to DePaul. If you’ve forgotten your Campus Connect password, use the “Recover Password” link on the login page. If you’ve not received your Campus Connect user ID, contact the Information Services Help Desk at +1 (312) 362-8765 or tsc@depaul.edu and inform them that you are a newly-admitted ELA student.
Submit your $100 non-refundable tuition deposit through Blue Demon Domain.
Admitted students can complete the online I-20 request process (Accessible to admitted students only).
  • On-Campus Housing at DePaul
  • DePaul University offers housing options at both the Lincoln Park and Loop Campuses. If you are planning to study at ELA for one academic year (fall, winter, and spring terms), on-campus housing is a good option. If you are interested in on-campus housing, apply for housing.

  • Summer Housing at DePaul
  • If you are planning to study at ELA only for the summer term and interested in on-campus housing at DePaul, please refer to the Summer Housing page.

  • Off-Campus Housing
  • If you are planning to study at ELA in the fall or winter term only, you will need to find your accommodation off-campus. DePaul offers resources to assist with looking for roommates or housing. Visit the DePaul University Off-Campus Housing Website for additional information.
DePaul University complies with Illinois state law, which requires students to provide proof of immunization for Tetanus/Diphtheria, Measles, Mumps and Rubella. Learn more about the process, requirements and exemptions.

After Arrival

If you received a SEVIS I-20 from DePaul University, you must complete an online immigration document check-in with International Student and Scholar Services (ISS) and update your local U.S. address in Campus Connect within the first week of your arrival on campus.
A class registration hold has been placed on your student account and will not be released until ISS receives and reviews your immigration documents and verifies that your local address has been entered in Campus Connection. If your documents are not successfully submitted, you will receive an email from ISS with further instructions.
All new ELA students will participate in ELA orientation and placement exams. For more information, please contact ELA office at ela@depaul.edu.
