Guidelines

​​​​​​​​Who's eligible?

Lincoln Park homeowners must reside within these boundaries to be considered eligible for the Neighborhood Parking Program: 

  • Altgeld on the north
  • ​Armitage on the south
  • Halsted  on the east
  • ​Wayne on the west

There are 300 permits available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is a limit of one permit per household. Proof of residency is required on the application form. A DePaul parking permit is required to park in all DePaul facilities. A DePaul access card is required for entrance to the Clifton garage. A parking permit does not guarantee an ​​​available space in the parking facilities.​

The Neighborhood Parking Program participants are eligible to park in the Student Surface lots P and L and the Clifton Parking Garage during these times:


Dates Time
Monday-Friday 4 PM - 8 AM
Saturday and Sunday ALL DAY

Locations:

  • Student Surface Lot L is located between Fullerton and Montana on Sheffield.

  • Student Surface Lot P is located on the north side of Fullerton east of the "L" tracks.

  • Clifton Parking Garage is located at 2330 N. Clifton. 

The above times are for September 1, 2023, through August 31, 2024. These times are subject to change. Contact the DePaul University Parking Services office at 773-325-7275 for additional information.

Winter Break Note:

The Clifton Parking Garage will be closed beginning at 11:30 pm on Friday, December 22, 2023, until reopening at 7:00 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. You will not have access to the Clifton garage during this closure.​ Please remove your vehicle from the deck before December 22 if you need it during winter break.

 
 You may park in any designated university student surface lot during winter break. If you have purchased a 24-hour Area Resident Clifton Garage permit, please contact Parking Services and we will grant you access to the Sheffield garage.

Additional Information:

  • The Clifton Parking Garage will be open to the public and Area Residents beginning September 1, 2023.

  • We will no longer be issuing physical “hang tags” for homeowners. Your license plate will serve as your campus-parking permit. You must have your access card to swipe in and out of the garage. Please make sure your vehicle is registered with the correct information prior to parking on campus. 

  • A DePaul access card is required for entrance to the Clifton Parking Garage and will be given with the parking pass.
