This program was created to ensure that electrical work is performed only by Facility Operations' electricians and qualified engineers or contracted appliance and repair technicians who have been provided with all information and tools necessary to protect themselves on the job.

The purpose of this plan is to ensure that all University personnel are aware of potential workplace hazards resulting from exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials.
