Where did you go to school?
I earned a BA at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and then earned an MA in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Missouri-Columbia.


What were your majors/minors in undergrad?
As an undergraduate, I was undecided for awhile before deciding to major in History and minor in Spanish and Psychology.


Favorite class in college?
I took a political science course that focused on the Kennedy assassination. We looked at it from every angle, analyzed witness testimony, and even did some of our own research using documents from the National Archives. It was fascinating.


If you weren’t an academic advisor, what would you be doing?
I like to think I would be working in a museum somewhere, creating and implementing educational programs for schools and community members.


Three things you would take with you on a deserted island?
Sunglasses, snorkel gear, and a hammock. When in Rome…
