Where did you go to school?
I attended University of Notre Dame for my BA in Theatre and DePaul University for my MA in Counseling.

What were your majors/minors in undergrad?
I came into undergrad as a math major. I double majored in math and theatre for a year and then switched to just theatre. I didn’t officially have any minors but I took a lot of my electives in gender studies and medieval studies.

Favorite class in college?
My favorite class was during my senior year of undergrad. It was my last core requirement that I waited till the last minute to take. It was a sociology class call Women and Video Games. We looked at the video game industry, how women are portrayed in games, and social structures in general. I loved it because I continue to use a lot of those lessons in my life and I got to play video games which never hurts.

If you weren’t an academic advisor, what would you be doing?
I would run a doggy daycare and probably focus on training my dog to be a therapy animal so we could do volunteer work together.

Three things you would take with you on a deserted island?
A packet of vegetable seeds, a machete, and a complete set of the Harry Potter books (that counts as one right?)
