University Marketing and Communications > Communications
We strive to create stronger campus communications through collaboration, recognizing that our diverse array of skills, perspectives and experiences make us better when we work together. In doing this, we collaborate and work in partnership with the Office of the President, the university’s colleges, schools and centers, Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, Public Safety, Facility Operations and a wide range of other academic and administrative units. We work with these groups to share the university’s key messages and stories with our constituents around the world and offer advice and direction to ensure consistency in our communication. We actively support programs designed to advance DePaul’s institutional goals as outlined in the campus strategic plan.
The department comprises the full complement of communication areas, including public relations, issues management and crisis communications, media relations, social media, internal faculty/staff communications, executive communications and visual services (photography and video production).
View a two-minute tour of an interesting place on campus, an Art Minute about an exhibition at the DePaul Art Museum or an interview with a faculty expert—all are part of our news and feature video collection on YouTube.
Specialized public relations services for faculty and administrative staff include studio portraits and media training.
DePaul Newsroom has the latest news, press releases, downloadable images and videos, as well as access to the Experts Guide.
