We document the people, places and events of DePaul University by providing photography, videography and multimedia services to the Branding, Marketing and Communications divisions, the President's Office and other campus partners.
Scope of Services
DePaul is a
vibrant community of thousands of teachers, learners, staff professionals and Chicago partners. With our limited resources, we prioritize the following areas in our coverage:
- University communications efforts
- Initiatives of the Office of the President and Board of Trustees
- Designing DePaul initiatives
- Local, regional, and national news events
- Major university events such as Convocation and Commencement
- Official university publications such as The DePaul Magazine
Requests that typically fall outside of our focus include:
- Faculty, staff and student headshots
- Conferences, banquets, parties, and receptions
- College, department or student group events and ceremonies
- College, department or student group informational or instructional videos
- Sports and athletics
We maintain a list of university-approved freelance photographers to assist you with projects that we cannot accommodate (at your department’s expense.)

Photo Release Forms
DePaul University recommends that photo and video release forms be signed by
individuals or
groups who will be photographed, videotaped or audiotaped for university publications, web pages and social media channels.
