The media relations professionals in University Communications use traditional and new media tools — press releases, media pitches and advisories, tip sheets, the Experts Guide, social media, video and digital photography — to promote stories about DePaul, its faculty scholarship and research expertise. The team also provides media training for faculty and administrative staff.

Media Training
Working effectively with journalists requires skill, practice and preparation. Being media-ready increases the likelihood that an interview will result in fair and accurate media coverage.
Our office offers a wide range of media training options for DePaul faculty and staff. This could include short sessions to help you develop talking points and key messages or intensive on-camera mock interviews. Group training also is available.
