Late Fees

Yes. Students are responsible for having their full balance resolved prior to the posted tuition due date. Students with outstanding balances, or students who have not made arrangements with a DePaul Student Accounts Representative to resolve said balance, will be assessed a $100 late fee and will be blocked from further registration until the balance is resolved.

No. Students who have past due balances will have the fee assessed for the term and a hold placed on their accounts, prohibiting further registration until the balance is resolved. Please note that all unresolved balances within the term in which the balance was generated may be subject to having past due balance(s) turned over to a collection agency.

No. The late fee is not percentage-based. The late fee is only assessed once per term in the amount of $100. Students will be blocked from further registration until the balance is resolved. Please note that all unresolved balances within the term in which the balance was generated may be subject to having past due balances turned over to a collection agency.
