Peter C. Argianas is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and retired bank executive.
Mr. Argianas graduated with honor from DePaul University in 1990, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree. As an Accounting major, he successfully passed the Uniform CPA Examination in 1990 and is currently licensed to practice in the State of Illinois.
Mr. Argianas' professional career began in public accounting and transitioned into bank supervision and regulation with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). During an accomplished career with the FDIC spanning more than a decade, he was appointed a commissioned examiner of financial institutions by the United States of America and earned multiple performance recognition awards.
With his background in accounting, tax and finance, Mr. Argianas founded Gold Coast Bank (GCB), a Chicago based FDIC-insured financial institution. The organizational stage for the bank began in the year 2006 and GCB officially opened for business in 2007. Mr. Argianas served as Chairman, President & CEO of GCB for a period of approximately twenty years until its sale during 2026.
Peter and his wife Michelle are lifelong Chicagoans, currently residing near DePaul University's Lincoln Park campus.
