Larry R. Rogers, Jr. is a trial lawyer with over 30 years of experience advocating for victims. As an equity partner and owner of Power Rogers, LLP, he has successfully settled and tried to verdict many cases obtaining multi-million dollar results for his clients in medical negligence, trucking, product liability and civil rights litigation. He represents everyday people in court who have been injured, wronged by big business, hospitals, governments, and corporations, leveling the playing field so they have a fighting chance at justice. He also serves as the senior commissioner of the Cook County Board of Review with over 20 years of experience. He was elected in 2004 in his first run for public office by citizens from the south and west sides of Cook County who were tired of "politics as usual" and wanted a commissioner who would provide them honest, ethical and transparent government. Since his election, Commissioner Rogers has infused new and fresh ideas into the Board of Review's appeals process. Mr. Rogers has been appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to various committees including the Supreme Court Rules Commission, the Lawyers Trust Fund, and the prestigious Illinois Supreme Court Executive Committee.
