Stephen V. D'Amore is the Chairman of Winston & Strawn LLP, a global law firm with nearly 1,000 attorneys in the United States, Europe, and South America. An accomplished trial lawyer, Steve has over 30 years of experience advising clients on business disputes in state and federal courts across the nation, as well as in U.S. and international arbitration forums. His practice areas include commercial, product liability, tax, and other business litigation. Under his leadership, Winston & Strawn continues to emphasize legal excellence, uncompromising client service, and corporate social responsibility. Steve is committed to promoting inclusion, expanding access to opportunities, and supporting pro bono and community service initiatives. Steve also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the governing board of Gilda's Club of Chicago. Additionally, Steve and his wife, Kim D'Amore, made the charter donation that created the First Generation in Law Scholars Program at DePaul College of Law, aimed at increasing inclusion in the legal profession. Steve and Kim live in the Chicago area with their son, Matthew.
