Designing DePaul Committees

To advance our Designing DePaul strategic plan, the Steering Committee provides overall guidance, oversight, and alignment across initiatives. Reporting to the steering committee, five strategic subcommittees composed of faculty and staff are charged with translating priorities into action, identifying measurable outcomes, and advancing key areas of focus.

Steering Committee

The Strategic Steering Committee provides leadership and direction for implementing the Designing DePaul strategic plan and guides the work of the five strategic subcommittees to monitor progress toward key priorities.

Subcommittees

Reporting to the Strategic Steering Committee, the five Strategic Subcommittees, composed of faculty and staff, are charged with translating priorities into action, identifying measurable outcomes, and advancing key areas of focus.

Academic Distinction Subcommittee: This subcommittee is championing initiatives that make a DePaul education stand out among competitors by reviewing existing plans and launching new strategies to elevate DePaul's reputation, distinction and fiscal strength, including efforts focused on artificial intelligence and a pilot co-op model.

Academic Programs National Interests Subcommittee: This subcommittee is exploring innovative tuition models to make socially critical programs more affordable, beginning with undergraduate teacher licensure programs in response to upcoming student loan changes.

Graduate Program Financial Aid, Recruitment, Marketing, and Branding Subcommittee: This committee focuses on identifying strategies to attract and enroll domestic graduate students by prioritizing program investments, strengthening financial aid and developing enrollment planning tools.

Loop Campus Design Subcommittee: This subcommittee is evaluating how DePaul's Loop presence can best be support student success and academic programs while remaining fiscally responsible for the long term.

Student Advising, Retention, and Career Outcomes Subcommittee: This subcommittee focuses on improving retention and career outcomes by developing data-informed student access models and expanding advising and career readiness support.
