Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,
We recognize that the news about increased immigration enforcement and potential National Guard deployment may create uncertainty for many in our community. We would like to reaffirm that the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff is paramount. DePaul Public Safety and our university leadership team continue to monitor the situation and are staying in close contact with local and state authorities.
We don’t anticipate any changes in university operations. Classes, research, and campus activities will proceed as scheduled.

- Public Safety offers safety tips and resources, including the safety escort service on the Lincoln Park Campus and the Vinnie Van, for transport between campuses.
- Ensure your contact information is correct for the university’s emergency alert system, DPU Alert, so that you will receive urgent messages about campus closures or safety concerns.
- University Counseling & Psychological Services offers free, confidential, individual, and group counseling services for DePaul students. Students may call 773-325-2273, option 1 | Counselors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
