Blue Demon Challenge Success

In a powerful show of Blue Demon spirit yesterday, 6,069 individual donors came together in only 24 hours to raise $6,303,329 million in support of our students. That level of participation and generosity shattered our goals, deeply affirming who we are as a university.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s Blue Demon Challenge – faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents, neighbors, trustees, and Blue Demons at heart. Your willingness to participate reflects the best of DePaul: a community grounded in care, opportunity, and a shared responsibility to one another.

The Blue Demon Challenge directly supports academic programs and student success initiatives that are central to our Catholic, Vincentian mission. Every contribution helps provide critical resources across the university and ensures that our students have what they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

I am grateful to our challenge donors and to all who encouraged a colleague, classmate, or friend of DePaul to participate. Together, you helped demonstrate what is possible when we lead with purpose and put students at the center of all we do.

I am especially appreciative of our Advancement staff, who worked tirelessly these past several weeks and in particular the last 24 hours, to ensure this year’s Blue Demon Challenge was a phenomenal success. Thank you for everything you do to support our students and strengthen DePaul’s mission.

Sincerely,

Robert L. Manuel
President
