Next presidential dialogue session: Building Belonging in higher education

Dear Faculty and Staff,

Thank you again for the insights and feedback you shared at the first President’s Dialogue Series on immigration. On Friday, I shared a message with a summary of the feedback and responses, which I invite you again to read here.

It’s a pleasure to invite you to register for the next event in the President’s Dialogue Series, which will be held on Feb. 27 from 9 – 11 a.m. on the Lincoln Park Campus. To reserve your seat, please complete the online registration form.   [eventbrite.com]

We are designing a speaker panel with expertise to discuss Illinois and national policies related to building belonging in higher education. Our new Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, Dania Matos, will help lead this important conversation.

In the spirit of dialogue, please share what you would like to hear from our expert panel or discuss with your colleagues at this upcoming session. Fill out a two-question survey here [depaul.qualtrics.com] (use your BlueKey log in credentials).

Finally, I would like to thank the Dialogue Collaborative for their continued collaboration in planning and facilitating these sessions. This series creates a platform for our community to discern how we can best live out our Catholic, Vincentian mission. I appreciate their efforts to make these series impactful for our entire community.

Thank you all for your ongoing commitment to our shared work. I’m looking forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming conversation.

Sincerely,

Robert L. Manuel
President
