Dear Faculty and Staff,
As we settle into spring quarter, our thoughts may already be wandering toward summer.
In order for you to plan ahead, we would like to announce that DePaul University will be closed on Friday, July 5, 2024 for an extended Independence Day holiday break. The university is already scheduled to be closed for Independence Day on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
We appreciate Staff Council advocating for this extra time off, and we are happy to accommodate its recommendation. We hope this additional day off will provide our faculty and staff with more time with their friends and families to relax and unwind.
Please note a separate communication from Human Resources will be forthcoming about time recording in BlueSky, as well as summer hours.
