Dear Faculty, Staff, and Students,
As we get ready to start a new academic year, DePaul is resuming its search for our next vice president for Mission and Ministry.
We are in the process of forming a search committee that includes representation from our colleges, administrative departments, students, and shared governance councils. We will share the full committee list and opportunities for our community to participate as the process moves forward.
Our Catholic, Vincentian mission is at the heart of who we are and continues to guide DePaul’s future. After taking additional time before resuming the search, we are moving forward with a renewed focus on finding a leader who will help our community deepen that mission and bring it to life through our work with faculty, staff, and students.
I’m especially grateful to Mark Laboe for his continued service as interim vice president for Mission and Ministry. His thoughtful leadership and deep commitment to DePaul have provided important continuity during this time, and I appreciate all he continues to do on behalf of our university community.
I look forward to sharing more about the search in the weeks ahead. Thank you, as always, for the many ways you bring DePaul’s mission to life each day.
Sincerely,
Robert L. Manuel
President
