Our mission is to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of DePaul University's information and IT services. Please review these Top Ten Security Tips that will help keep your devices, data, and identity more secure. Information Security provides the following services:

• Information Protection — The Information Security team develops security policies and standards, consults university departments and schools on security compliance, assesses data risk, and works to maintain data confidentiality, integrity and availability.
• Security Services — The Security team maintains and offers a range of security services, including vulnerability and application scanning, safeguarding the information assets of the university and protecting our community's personal privacy,  incident response services, endpoint security, and intrusion prevention system.
• Security Research and Awareness — The Security team also promotes the awareness of data security, computer and network security issues, researches new security technologies, analyzes ongoing threats to the university, assists university staff in creating and maintaining a secure technological environment, and advises the university on technology aspects of regulatory compliance.
