Dean's Lists are created after the end of the final exam grading period for the Fall, Winter and Spring terms. This timing allows for the grade reporting, grade changes, the clearing of incomplete grades, and other end-of-term actions.  Eligibility for the Dean's List is determined by a grade point average of 3.500 for the academic term based on a minimum of 12 graded hours (8 hours for SCPS students), not including the grades of PA, WA, W, IN, M or R.  The Dean's List honor is noted on the student's transcript and students will receive a letter from their college dean's office to their home address.
