I’m pleased to share more about our panel discussion. Orson Morrison, associate director for clinical services at University Counseling and Psychological Services, will moderate a conversation exploring the intersection of mental health and community care in higher education and the workplace, particularly in a time of uncertainty and rapid change. Our panelists include:
- Tara Gill (CSH ’08), psychologist, Center for Childhood Resilience, Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago
- Darrick Tovar-Murray, associate dean and professor, College of Education, DePaul University
- Alyssa Westring, Vincent de Paul professor and chair of the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, Driehaus College of Business, DePaul University
The discussion will address how universities and workplaces can create structural support systems that help individuals navigate ongoing challenges—from shifting expectations in higher education to the evolving nature of work.
Following the panel, participants can take part in small group dialogues and activities, as well as a resource fair.
In the spirit of dialogue, please share which topics or activities interest you most. A two-question survey is
here.
Thank you all for your ongoing commitment to our shared work. I’m looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday.
Sincerely,
Robert L. Manuel
President
