Prayers for Turkey and Syria

On Friday, the death toll from the devastating earthquakes that took place in Turkey and Syria earlier this month surpassed a staggering 50,000 people. In the weeks that have followed this heartbreaking tragedy, our university community united in prayer for the victims and support for global organizations providing direct assistance.

We invite all members of the university community to join a vigil for Turkey and Syria this Thursday, March 2 at 3 p.m. in the 11th Floor Gallery of the DePaul Center on the Loop Campus. The Division of Mission and Ministry will lead a prayer service and offer ways to turn our prayers into action. For more information, please contact Rev. Diane Dardon at ddardon@depaul.edu.

Thank you for your continued support and compassion for all the individuals affected by this massive natural disaster. We stand in solidarity with the Turkish and Syrian members of our DePaul community. Our hearts remain with all those suffering.
