​Execu​​tive R​​isk Committee (ERC)

The Executive Risk Committee (the “ERC” or the “Committee”) oversees and guides the efforts of the university’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program, aligns on a consistent risk management approach across business functions, reviews and escalates new and emerging risks for discussion, and discusses other relevant cross-functional risk-related topics of interest. 

Members

As an oversight and advisory body, the ERC includes DePaul leaders (faculty, staff, and administrators) who bring unique perspectives and expertise in risks and internal controls within and across their respective areas of responsibilities. 

The Executive Risk Committee consists of senior members of DePaul's faculty and staff.

The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Risk Management shall serve as the ERC’s chairperson, and committee members include: the President, Provost, Executive Vice President (EVP), General Counsel, Vice President (VP) of Information Services, VP of Human Resources, VP of Enrollment Management, the VP of Student Affairs, a Faculty Council representative, and a Staff Council representative. Other individuals may be invited on an as-needed basis. The Executive Risk Committee is supported by the Office of Enterprise Risk Management.
