Prayer and Meditation

​​​​ DePaul has regular prayer and mediation opportunities within Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist and spiritual traditions.

Mid-day Meditation at the Ray Meyer - Wednesdays at 12:30p.m. (during the school year)

Take a thirty-minute pause to get invigorated through a gentle, guided meditation. Faculty, students, staff and Ray community members are welcome to stop by Studio C and be still and center.  Drop by anytime. No experience required. Take Care DePaul!

Catholic Masses and Prayer

The DePaul Catholic Community welcomes all students, faculty and staff to actively participate by gathering as a community of faith for mass, prayer and the sacraments.  We hope that you join us! There are a number of ways to be involved.


Sunday Night Mass

"The largest weekly student gathering."  

All are welcome to join Catholic Campus Ministry for Mass every Sunday night at 8:30pm at St. Vincent de Paul Church.


St. Vincent de Paul Parish

The DePaul community is also invited to parish Masses:

  • Saturday | 5pm
  • Sunday | 8am, 10am and 5pm

Daily Mass

12pm | Every Monday - Friday | Loop and Lincoln Park Campuses
  • Lincoln Park Campus | Saint Louise de Marillac Chapel, Student Center 1st Floor
  • Loop Campus | Miraculous Medal Chapel, Lewis Center 1st Floor

Sacrament of Reconciliation

Reconciliation is available before Sunday night Mass from 7:30pm - 8:20pm.

Intercessory Prayer and Reflection - LPSC Interfaith Sacred Space. Every other Wed. 6:22 pm (During the school year)


Prayer

Muslim Jumu'ah Salah (Friday Prayer) 

Jumu'ah Salah (Friday prayer) is held on Fridays at 1:15 in the Muslim Prayer Room in the Lincoln Park Student Center Suite 329.

Jewish Shabbat (monthly)

Friday Night Shabbat services and dinner are held the first Friday of every month at 6:30 pm in the Interfaith Sacred Space on the 1st floor of the Lincoln Park Student Center. Contact Dr. Jen Goldberg​ for other opportunities to celebrate Shabbat with DePaul community members.
