What has been the most rewarding part of working with international admission at DePaul University.

I like hearing most from our international students themselves about why they choose DePaul, and what they enjoy about living here in the city.

What piece of advice would you give an international student who is beginning the university search process?

As you begin your search process, remember to ask a lot of questions and take a moment to recognize the educational and career opportunities you have before you.  There are a number of educational institutions out there – make sure to select the one you feel is best positioned to support you on your educational and career journey.

What is your favorite thing about living in the city of Chicago?

You'll never got bored living in a city like Chicago. Regardless of your interests or what you like to do in your free time, I guarantee you'll not only find someone with a similar background to yourself, you'll be exposed ideas and people outside your comfort zone; experiences that will ultimately contribute to your success in an increasingly interconnected and globalized world.

If an international student is curious but unsure about attending college in a city as large as Chicago, what would you tell them?

You are not alone!  Chicago is a big city, but it's made up of many smaller neighborhoods.  Perhaps start with exploring your own neighborhood, then venturing just beyond that to explore a bit further.
