Gaming Lounges

DePaul Esports
In fall 2018, DePaul Housing debuted two residence hall Esports gaming lounges, similar to the DePaul Esports Gaming Center on the Loop Campus. The lounges include high-tech gaming hardware, software and accessories. Residents can enjoy six high-end gaming PCs, premium gaming chairs, and a PlayStation 4 that hooks to a 65-inch 4K television. Lounges are located in:

  •  University Halls lower level, lounge B1
  • Sanctuary Hall’s first floor, lounge 100

Gaming lounge use is exclusively open to residents living in those halls and their guests. In order to make these spaces available, DePaul asks that each individual follows the Code of Conduct and Gaming Lounge Policies and Procedures.

Checking Out Peripheral Equipment

Residents may also check out peripheral equipment for use in one of the residential hall gaming lounges by visiting either the East Area Office (for Sanctuary Gaming Lounge) or the West Area Office (for University Hall Gaming Lounge) during business hours Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and filling out the required form. Peripheral equipment may include PS4 controllers, Xbox controllers, gaming headsets or other items.

Note the following:

  • Equipment is for use in the gaming lounges only.
  • All sign-outs are for 72 hours (3 days). After that, residents will be charged a late fee of $50.00 for not returning and will face the possibility of being charged for replacements.
  • Residents may be billed for the replacement of any damaged equipment or equipment not returned.
