ELEVATE: DePaul's Asian/Asian American Professional Community

​ELEVATE serves faculty and staff at DePaul University in order to build an engaged Asian/Asian American campus community and to increase our visibility and influence throughout the institution. ELEVATE is committed to institutional advocacy on behalf of our community, strategic networking to enhance our community and developmental programming to empower our community.

5th Annual Grace Lee Boggs Heritage Breakfast, 10 a.m., May 25, Lincoln Park Student Center Room 314 A&B

Grace Pai, executive director of Asian Americans Advancing Justice Chicago, will provide the keynote address and discuss the Illinois TEAACH Act and how this legislation addresses the inclusion of Asian Americans in the curriculum. Register on Eventbrite.​​​​

Rise Up!: Graduation Celebration for Asian, Pacific Islander, & Desi American (APIDA) Students​, 6 p.m., June 1, Cortelyou Commons

This event recognizes the academic achievements of DePaul University’s Asian, Pacific Islander, Desi American undergraduate and graduate students, their families and allies. This includes students who graduated Fall 2021, Winter 2022 and who will graduate Spring 2022 and Summer 2022. Register on DeHUB.​
