2018 - 2019 Per Hour Rates
DePaul’s school for adult students, the School for New Learning, is committed to making sure that completing your degree is an affordable option. Select programs in SNL offer a discounted tuition rate of $470 per credit hour which is 25% lower than the university’s undergraduate, part-time tuition. SNL students majoring in Business Administration, Computing, Leadership Studies and Applied Behavioral Sciences will automatically receive the discounted tuition rate on their tuition statement.

The total potential savings you may qualify for is determined by the number of credits you need to complete or earn your undergraduate degree, which requires 192 quarter hours. Students entering with an associate’s degree or transfer credit from another two or four year institution, will need to complete fewer credits at DePaul to reach the 192 credit hours. Using 2018/19 tuition figures, the following summarizes your potential overall savings by major/degree program:
Business Administration and Computing Majors – Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies
For SNL students majoring in Business Administration or Computing with no transfer credit, the estimated total savings is up to $30,720. For students entering these program with an associate’s degree or equivalent transfer credit, the estimated savings equates up to $15,680.
Leadership Studies and Applied Behavioral Sciences Accelerated Adult Degree Programs
Students who have earned an associate’s degree or equivalent and wish to pursue the Accelerated Adult Degree Completion Programs in Leadership Studies (BA) or Applied Behavioral Sciences (BA) also qualify for the discounted tuition rate of $470 per credit hour – potentially saving up to $14,880 to complete your bachelor’s degree. Note, this savings assumes transferring a maximum of 99 quarter hours/66 semester hours to DePaul.
