Safe Zone and Trans in the Classroom Workshops

Safe Zone and Trans in the Classroom workshops are offered through the Center for Identity, Inclusion and Social Change, in collaboration with the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity’s BUILD certificate program and are open to all faculty, staff and students. Safe Zone
Safe Zone is an ongoing program open to any DePaul students, staff, and faculty who are interested in being allies to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and queer (LGBTQ+) communities.

Trans in the Classroom (lunch will be provided)
This interactive lunchtime workshop is designed for faculty, staff, and students to learn about being allies to transgender people in the classroom.
