Residence Hall Ministry

Retreat for freshmen in the Res Halls

DePaul's Residence Hall Ministry is shared by four University Ministry staff who are happy to coordinate programs, meet with res hall students, and make referrals.

Social Programs

To help residents feel more at home and connected to the community, University Ministry staff and student leaders may be invited by RAs to co-host a dinner for their residents.  While enjoying a home-made meal, residents can meet their neighbors and learn about activities happening on campus.

Pastoral Care

Staff from University Ministry are available to meet with residents for one-on-one conversations and can provide support in times of crisis. Whether you are dealing with adjusting to college life, choosing an academic major, making career decisions, relationship problems, grief, questioning your identity or faith, struggling with anxiety and depression, etc.  we can provide short term counseling and referrals.

Religious and Spiritual Support

Throughout the year in collaboration with staff from Residential Education, University Ministry offers programs to support the religious and spiritual lives of residents.  Interested in exploring your spirituality?  Take the Spirituality Survey to begin your journey to spiritual wellness.
