DePaul has reduced density on campus by limiting the number of residential students and having only the necessary number of faculty and staff on campus. This also means that while buildings on campus are open (after the quarantine period),
faculty, staff and students should come to campus only when necessary—any activities that can be conducted remotely should be.
When a community member does come to campus, they must self-monitor their health with the
#CampusClear app, and not come to campus if they are sick. In addition, public health guidance requires us to keep a physical distance of 6 or more feet from others, regularly wash hands or use hand sanitizer and wear a face covering, among other things. Finally, all faculty, staff and students must complete
a mandatory online training on health and safety measures before they go to campus.
