One of DePaul's top priorities is to keep all our students safe and healthy, both physically and mentally. Within the Division of Student Affairs lies the department of University Counseling and Psychological Services and the department of Health Promotion and Wellness, both of which specifically focus on the health of our students.
University Counseling and Psychological Services (UCAPS)
University Counseling and Psychological Services (UCAPS) offers numerous resources, such as brief screenings and consultations for students, psychoeducational workshops regarding a variety of topics, referrals and assistance for students with common concerns, all at no cost to the student.
For more information, please navigate the UCAPS webpage here.
Health Promotion and Wellness
Health Promotion and Wellness (HPW) provides holistic education, support and resources for students to establish and sustain long-term, healthy behaviors. Their resources include substance misuse support, sexual and relationship violence support, mental well-being programs, and various on-campus events.
For more information, please navigate the HPW webpage here.
If your student is struggling with stress, anxiety, homesickness or the 'winter blues,' encourage them to use these great resources!
