Darryl Arrington, MPS

Darryl rejoined the division of Student Affairs in July of 2021. In his role as assistant vice president, Darryl oversees the Office of Multicultural Student Success (OMSS) and Access, Attainment and TRiO. These units support the retention and persistence to graduation of students of color, first generation students, students that demonstrate financial need, undocumented students and students with marginalized genders and sexualities.

Darryl has over 30 years of higher education experience working in both the Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and Marketing divisions at DePaul in various roles. He is an Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) Commissioner serving on the Audit Committee and recently representing ISAC Commissioners on the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) Strategic Plan Advisory Committee.

Darryl is a Double Demon with a bachelor's degree in social science and a master’s degree in public service management. He is strong advocate of the mission of DePaul and serves as a DePaul Mission Ambassador.
