Shaquilla (Shaq) (she/her/hers) joined DePaul University in July 2020 as a residence director in the sumer of 2020. In her role, Shaq supervises the RA student staff, coordinates programming to engage the residential community, and provides essential support and resources to assist students during their college transition. During Shaq’s spare time, she enjoys video games, sightseeing, and vinyl record shopping.
Prior to her role at DePaul, Shaq served as a program coordinator at San Francisco Art Institute and a Graduate Assistant at the University of San Francisco working in their Black Achievement Success and Engagement resource center.
Shaq received her B.A. in psychology from Florida International University and her M.A. in Higher Education & Student Affairs from the University of San Francisco.
