Monika Wasshausen, MS

Monika (she/her/hers) has been working at DePaul University since October 2018 as the Residence Director of University Hall, a residence hall of approximately 300 first-year students. In her role, Monika supervises 7 Resident Advisors (RA), coordinates social, educational, and cultural programming to provide residents with a variety of opportunities to learn and build a sense of community. Additionally, Monika works to address student concerns or issues within the hall and connect students to various resources on campus.

Prior to her role at DePaul, Monika served as a Graduate Assistant for Casa Latina Cultural Center at Western Illinois University and a Residence Hall Coordinator at Saint Louis University.

Monika received her B.A. in Liberal Studies from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles and her M.S. in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University. ​
